As part of her ongoing efforts to provide support and put smiles on the faces of the people in the council area, especially party faithful, the Mayor of Idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), earlier today distributed bags of rice, Indomie and other items for the people in the council area.
This Christmas and New Year package is part of Hon. Obi’s charitable initiative to bring comfort to the people of the council area during the festive season.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Obi appreciated them for their support to administration of Governor Charles Soludo CFR, stating that Mr. Governor is taking the state to greater height with his numerous projects.
Council Mayor noted that Governor Soludo has turned Anambra to construction site, saying that every local government is benefiting from the massive road construction and rehabilitation going on in the state.
While appreciating them for their unalloyed support since she took the mantle of leadership, she appealed to them to double their support for Anambra State Government for more dividends of democracy, adding that APGA is the only hope of common man.
Responding, Idemili South party Chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo appreciated Hon. Amaka Obi for always remembering the party faithful and prayed for more strength upon her to continue her selfless service to the people, Idemili South, Anambra and humanity at large.
The event was attended by Deputy Mayor, Hon. Ifeanyi Anakuba, councillors, Supervisors, party executives and many others.
